Q: How many images do you take and how many images will be on the disc?
A: I do not put a limit on how may images I capture. It all depends on how much time is given for pictures and how the day flows.
All of the images taken will be hand sorted and chosen for quality. I provide all of the quality images that are captured on the disc.
Q: Can I make prints and enlargements from the disc?
A: Yes, you can. The images on the disc are high resolution Jpeg images. They are your digital negatives. I provide a print release letter along with your disc so that you are able to make as many prints, reprints and enlargements as you would like.
Q: How long does it take before I can see my images?
A: I ask for 6-8 weeks to edit all of your images and have your disc ready for the mail. Your proofing gallery will also be ready for viewing at this time.
I try my hardest to get previews up on my blog within a few days…for fun!
Q: If I have ordered an album how long will it take to receive it?
A: Once the images for the album are chosen I will start on the design.
I ask for 3 weeks to create the layout. I will upload the layout to your online proofing gallery for approval. Once you approve the layout it is sent out for printing which can take up to 8 weeks depending on the type of book ordered. I have the book sent to me so I can approve the quailty and I mail it to you.
Q: How much time is recommnded for group portraits?
A: I usually recommend about 30 minutes for group photos. I ask for 1 hour for Bride and Groom portraits although I try to remain flexible on this so I can go with the flow of the day.
Q: Should we do our portraits before the ceremony?
A: If the bride and groom are willing to see eachother before the ceremony I think this is a great idea! It leaves more time for the bride, groom and families to relax after the ceremony.
Q: Can I give you a list of our “must have shots”?
A: Of course. I don’t mind at all when a list is provided. I actually helps me to see what your style is. A list of family
members for family group shots is also very helpful in speeding up the process with large groups.I do recommend keeping your family group shots to a minimum. If there are too many it can take away from capturing the special and spontaneous moments.
Q: What about travel to other islands? Do you charge a travel fee?
A: Maui is my home base but I love to travel and photograph on other islands. I do not charge a travel fee for my full day package. A Travel fee of $600 will be charged for smaller packages.
Q: Can my family and friends order prints from our proofing gallery?
A: Yes! Your proofing gallery is set up so your family and friends can order prints from my professional lab and have them sent directly to them.
Q: Do you customize packages?
A: Yes. If you do not see a package that suits your needs please feel free to call or email me anytime and we can discuss what will work for you.
Q: Do you accept Credit Cards?
A: Yes, we accept Mastercard, Visa & Discover
~ Please feel free to call or email me if you have any other questions.
