I was super excited to travel to the North Shore of Oahu to photograph Lori & Paul’s wedding. They tied the knot at the Loulu Palm Estate. What an awesome location! I fell in love with this beautiful, secluded spot. When we arrived Lori was finishing up her hair & makeup while Paul, in another room, was writing his vows. There was excitement in the air for what was looking to be a perfect wedding day. Lori looked stunning in her gown.. friends and family helped her get dressed as their guests gathered on the lawn.
We headed down to the beach beach for their ceremony. Everyone was smiling, awaiting Lori’s walk down the isle. There was a beautiful heart in the sand made of coral for them to stand in as they said “I do” for everyone to hear. The love that these two share radiated throughout the ceremony and everyone there could feel it. Such a special day.
After the ceremony and a few family portraits Paul and Lori took a break to celebrate with their friends, laugh, enjoy food & drinks and soak it all in. We slipped away just before sunset for a portraits session of just the two of them. Paul & Lori were so natural in front of the camera.. they were a delight to photograph.
After the sun went down we were in for a treat! Paul & Lori had arranged for his family to perform traditional Yapese dances for everyone. The colors of their costumes combined with smiling faces , just a joy to capture!
Dinner was amazing! The caterer provided all organic food grown in Hawaii. Not only did it look beautiful but it was so yummy! The evening ended with lots of dancing and laughter.
Thank you so much Paul & Lori for having us there to capture your day. We wish you many more years of love, happiness & laughter.
