Portrait Sessions
Portrait sessions are on location at a beautiful Maui beach or park of your choosing. We prefer to capture your portraits naturally, using Maui’s natural sun light and the beautiful surroundings of the island. There are some beaches, although public, are off limits to all photographers due to Maui County Regulations such as Kaanapali Beach and Makena State Park. These locations can not be used as a location for portraits or weddings at this time. But not to worry! Maui has so many more beautiful locations to choose from. We are happy to recommend our favorites spots based on where you are staying on island and how many people will attend the session.

FAQ
How Far in advance should we book our portrait session?
It's best to book a session as soon as you know your travel dates. Busier months tend to fill up quickly!
When will we get our photos?
Delivery time for family sessions takes about 4-6 weeks depending on the time of year. Once your gallery is complete you will be emailed a link to view, download & share your gallery.
What if the weather is bad on our selected date?
If it's looking like the weather may be bad on your selected date, not to worry! We can always reschedule to another day or choose a different location on the island that is clear. I will reach out to you the day before our session in the event of bad weather so we can make a plan.
What time of day is best for a session and what should we wear?
That really depends on your group! If you have little ones, many times early morning is a good choice since they are rested and generally ready to take on the day! For older kids & adults, sunset is such a lovely time of day with softer light and usually cooler weather..
For clothing, I generally recommend to stay away from dark colors such as black or navy. Choosing beachy colors such as white, khaki, aqua, coral or several shades of blue and green with a complimenting pattern looks best for beach portraits. Ultimately I recommend wearing what makes you most comfortable!
